Two From Region Named To Olympic Ski Team
Two cross-country ski racers from the Northwest have secured spots on the U.S. Olympic Team for the Vancouver 2010 Games.

Sun Valley's Morgan Arritola is headed to her first Olympics at age 23. Arritola switched from competitive soccer to cross-country skiing when she was a junior in high school.
Also making the team is 29-year-old Torin Koos. He's a Leavenworth, Washington native now living in Bend, Oregon.
Torin Koos: "For the last eight years, it's just been all skiing. I wake up out of bed and the first thing I'm thinking is, how am I going to become a better skier. Before I go to bed I probably have the same thought. It's been my one singular goal for this whole time."
This will Koos' third Olympics. He also skied at the Salt Lake and Torino Games.
At the Whistler Olympic Park, the U.S. cross-country ski team will contest 12 medal events between February 15th and the 28th.
