School Measures Pass Easily In SW Washington

A handful of school measures on the ballot in Southwest Washington passed easily last night.

The biggest was a four-year operating levy in the Evergreen School District, worth a total of nearly $180 million.

It passed easily, with 57 percent of the vote. Tax levies in the Green Mountain, Hockinson, and Woodland school districts passed even more easily.

The Ridgefield schools also managed to get the 60 percent approval needed to pass a construction bond.
