Ron Wyden To Face Jim Huffman In U.S. Senate Race
Democratic incumbent Senator Ron Wyden will face Republican Jim Huffman in November. Huffman defeated six other candidates to win the GOP primary.
In the 1st Congressional district, incumbent David Wu defeated one challenger in the Democratic primary.
It’s not yet clear who his opponent will be. Rob Cornilles is leading in the early vote totals in the Republican primary, but the race is not yet decided.
In the 4th district, Democratic Representative Peter DeFazio will face Republican Art Robinson, a prominent critic of global warming, in the November election.
And in the 5th district, Oregon’s newest House member, Democrat Kurt Schrader, will face Scott Bruun, the winner of the Republican primary.
In the 2nd district, Greg Walden, the incumbent Republican, will face Joyce Segers, who was the only candidate in the Democratic primary.
3rd district Representative Earl Blumenauer will face Republican Delia Lopez, who was unopposed in the primary.
