John Lim, Bill Sizemore, Chris Dudley and Allen Alley each said they were the right Republican to break the Democrats' 24-year hold on the Oregon governor's office.
Each said the state could lure more business by lowering taxes.
Alley, Sizemore and Lim said they supported eliminating the tax on capital gains earned in Oregon.
Dudley wouldn't commit to that but said he would lower the capital gains tax and said he wouldn't be more definitive than that.
Chris Dudley: "Because there's no reason to come out with a specific right now. I'm actually talking with, down in Salem, putting through the numbers on the capital gains, how far we could bring it down, what the impact would be, what's the right dollar amount, and weíll come out with a dollar."
The primary is less than two weeks away. Dudley has raised more money than any other candidate in the race from either party.
