TURNER, Ore. – People in Oregon's flood-ravaged Willamette Valley are keeping an eye on the skies: more rain is on the way this week. Many spent the weekend cleaning up the damage after last week's floods. Chris Lehman checked in with residents in Turner, where more than 100 people evacuated during the height of the storms.

I'm standing at the corner of 5th Street and Delaney Road in the hard-hit town of Turner. This neighborhood just a few days ago was under water. People like Deena Gibson had to evacuate their home.

"I finally cried today," she says. "Today was the day I finally broke down. You're in so much of a mode of just gettin' and helpin' and runnin' and doin' that today I finally sat down and took a moment and realized I have no home. I have to find somewhere to live."

Gibson says she has friends and family that are helping her out, but city officials here in Turner say many residents don't have flood insurance and are in desperate need of financial assistance.

The city is also warning its residents not to assume the worst is over. The ground is still saturated and there's another round of heavy rain in the forecast later this week.
