Rain May Slow, But It'll Just Keep Coming
After a break in the rain, forecasters are predicting a couple of more inches to fall on Oregon between Friday and Sunday.
Lianne Ramirez is with the National Weather Service. She says it's going to be wet throughout Portland and the Willamette Valley.
"We're expecting several rivers to reach minor flooding especially in some of them are near moderate flooding as well," Ramirez says.
Temperatures aren't expected to get much lower than the 40's, so snow is not expected. But strong winds between 50 and 60 miles per hour are predicted along the coast.
Authorities are also warning people to be careful when clearing up. Flood water can often be contaminated by sewage, so any cuts need to be properly treated.
