Q&A: Developments In Kyron Horman Case
Police looking for missing 7-year-old, Kyron Horman, sent out forms today Friday, asking anyone who was on Skyline Elementary campus June 4th to answer a series of questions.
Kristian Foden-Vencil attended a press conference this afternoon where police explained the form. He joins us live in the studio. Thanks Kristian.
Kristian: My pleasure.

| Missing Portland second-grader Kyron Horman |
Sadie: So what was the form about and what do police want to know?
Kristian: Essentially, the form has a picture of the 2nd grader and his stepmother, Terri Horman. It asks people to say if they saw Kyron and who he was with the day he disappeard.
It also asks whether they saw Terri Horman and when -- and if they saw her truck -- a white F250.
Captain Jason Gates, with Multnomah County, says it's all part of a second canvas of teachers, staff, volunteers, students, parents -- or anybody who came to the school between 8 in the morning and 4 that afternoon.
Jason Gates: "Detectives working this case is exhaustive...Terri is the last known person to have seen Kyron before he disappeared."
Kristian: Police hope the form will jog people's memory now that its been two weeks since the search began.
Police have asked people return the questionairs to an officer who will be at the school this Sunday.
Sadie: I understand the family also made another statement?
Kristian: That's correct. But none of them came to the press conference. Instead, Captain Jason Gates read it for them.
They said it's been two weeks since Kyron disappeared and they're missing him terribly.
Jason Gates: "We are sorry we are not there today to stand with investigators.......and our heart is broken. Please help bring Kyron home."
Sadie: This is such a high profile case, a number of allegations have been published in local newspapers and on the internet. Can you talk about that?
Kristian: Yes. The Portland Tribune is reporting that Kyron's uncle, Kristian Scott Horman, was convicted of child molestation charges Wednesday -- and booked into Snohomish County Jail with no bail.
Off camera, Captain Gates said he's looking into the issue. He added he's got literally hundreds of other leads to follow up too.
There was another rumor, that Kyron has been found -- that's not true. And it's one of the reasons Gates held the press conference.
Jason Gates " These erroneous reports have come through the social media mainly.....and it is harmful to Kyron's family."
Sadie: Talking about Kyron's family, local newspapers have reported that his stepmother, Terri Horman, is now a suspect? Did the sheriff's office have anything to say about her.
Kristian: Yes. Here's what Gates said when he was asked whether she is a suspect or person of interest.
Jason Gates: We're not in a position to talk about people of interest....... last person to see Kyron."
Kristian: Gates said Terri Horman and the whole family is being cooperative with investigators. He said he still can't say for certain that it wasn't a stranger-to-stranger incident.
But he says the need for the public to be alarmed is very low.
Sadie: Thank you Kristian.
Kristian: My pleasure.
Anyone with information regarding Kyron Horman whereabouts is asked to call the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office tip line 503 261-2847, or to dial 911 with emergency information.
