Portland Police say they have some new evidence in the shooting of Borishell Washington, and they're asking more witnesses to come forward.

It's been about five months since the Jefferson High School senior was shot at a get-together in Raymond Park. Police think the shooting may have been gang related -- though they say Washington was not in a gang.

Detectives say a number of people witnessed the shooting, but have yet to talk to police.

Borishell's 20-year-old sister, Raynisha Mayes, hopes someone will come forward.

Raynisha Mayes: "I really can't say if they're scared to say something or, I don't know what the case may be. But all I know is out of all the people that was there, that was with her, and that was around her. Somebody knows something."

Borishell's mother, Sara Issac, says her family deserves justice, so it can mend and find peace.

Crime Stoppers has come forward with a $1,000 cash reward for any information that leads to a conviction.
