Oregon Political Review: Pot, Parties, A Fake Diploma And A Doctor In The House

Turns out West Linn Mayor Patti Galle lied on her election form about having a college degree, bought a degree 2 months ago and backdated it. Just how often does this kind of thing happen with elected officials?
Tea Party protesters staged anti-tax demonstrations to mark tax deadline day. But an attempted infiltration of the movement by a Beaverton teacher has also drawn attention.

During a Democratic candidate debate in Eugene this week, a member of the audience had a medical emergency and when the call went out for a “doctor in the house,” John Kitzhaber came to the aid of the stricken fellow. Has his profession, as a doctor, helped him politically during the time he’s been in public life?
