Oregon journalist Nena Baker certainly was. She's published a new book about everyday exposure to toxics.
As part of her research, she went through a rigorous series of tests that showed a wide range of toxics in her system--some old, some new.
She spoke with OPB's April Baer about the experience, and what she learned.
