Nike Stock Hits All-Time High
Nike stock hit an all-time high Monday. The price closed at more than $78 a share.
The company's annual shareholder meeting was in Beaverton Monday. On its website, the company posted comments by CEO Mark Parker. He said the company is stronger than ever.
Mark Parker: "Fiscal year 2010 brought a lot of challenges. It was a tough economy, no matter where you lived or worked. But I firmly believe that every challenge offers an equally powerful opportunity. And we were aggressive about pursuing that opportunity."
The company says it broke several of its own financial records, including: an all-time high gross margin of 46 percent; and direct-to-consumer sales of nearly $2.5 billion.
Nike will release its first-quarter results Thursday.
