New Poll Shows Tax Measures' Support Slipping
Voter support for Measures 66 and 67 is slipping, according to a poll by Davis, Hibbitts & Midghall. That sets the stage for an extremely tight race. April Baer reports.
Pollster Tim Hibbits says Measure 66 is now passing only 50% to 43%. Measure 67s lead is a mere 47 to 45%.

This poll shows Democratic voters holding steady, as the base of support. But Hibbits says the poll, conducted Thursday night, shows fewer likely to vote, or vote yes, among men, older voters, and voters who identify as independent are moving toward voting no, or not voting at all.
Here’s Hibbits’ geographic breakdown.
Tim Hibbits “Right now, it’s occurring across the board, but its occurring a bit more in Tricounty area and outside the Valley. There’s been at least some erosion everywhere EXCEPT among Democrats.”
The poll’s margin of error is plus or minus 4.4, the races may be too close to call.
