More Details Emerge From Gresham Shooting
Additional details are emerged Monday in the case of a sheriff’s deputy who shot three other people and himself, at a Gresham bar, Friday night.
Gresham police are confirming that Clackamas County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeffrey Grahn fired shots in two different places.
Gresham police spokesman Rick Wilson says Grahn shot his wife, Charlotte, outside the bar, after the two of them left. Wilson says Grahn then re-entered the bar, where he shot two of his wife’s friends.
Rick Wilson: “And then went back outside to where he’d been before, and shot himself with his handgun, which was not his service gun. He was off-duty at the time.”
Wilson says the Gresham police were finishing up reports Monday, which they’ll share with the Clackamas County Sheriff.
One of Grahn’s three victims survived being shot, but is in a coma, according to authorities.
Police have said the crime was one of domestic violence. The Grahns were getting a divorce.
