The community of Molalla, a small town in Clackamas County, Oregon, is grieving the loss of one of its leaders this morning. 

The body of Molalla City Councilman Ryan Morgan was found in the Little White Salmon River near Stevenson, Washington Monday.

The Skamania County Sheriff's Office says Morgan died in a kayaking accident over the weekend.  For reaction, we turn to John Atkins.  He's the Molalla City manager.
