Makah Tribe Representatives Say They Didn't Approve Whale Killing
Portland, OR September 10, 2007 4:25 p.m.
Representatives of the Makah Indian tribe on the Northwest tip of Washington State will travel to the other Washington Monday night.
They want to assure Congress and federal agencies that the tribal council did not approve the killing of a gray whale on Saturday.
Correspondent Tom Banse has been following the story and he spoke with us earlier from Neah Bay in Washington.
