The injectable form of the H1N1 vaccine is now in Oregon. And as Kristian Foden-Vencil reports, some hospitals are putting up tents -- just in case they need to treat large numbers of people.

Three Portland-area hospitals in the Providence Healthcare System have set up industrial grade tents.

Spokesman, Gary Walker, says at the beginning of the month about 30 people a day were turning up to hospitals in the Providence system to report flu-like symptoms.

Now it's up to about 150 a day.

Gary Walker: "Those tents are just there as a precaution. They take some time to set up. But if we got to a point where we needed additional space for our emergency departments, we'd be ready."

Authorities are also reporting that injectable doses of H1N1 vaccine are now in the state -- not just the nasal mist form. But Doctor Anne Thomas with the Oregon Health Division says some people are getting frustrated.

Anne Thomas: "We're not getting as much as we'd like. And I know that waits are long and we've heard reports of people who are interested in the vaccine only to be told that they're out. or they won't have it until next week."

She says 700,000 doses should be in the state by next month.
