Kyron Horman's Father Files For Divorce, Seeks Restraining Order
As the father of missing second-grader Kyron Horman files for divorce, the investigation continues. As Kristian Foden-Vencil reports, authorities say they still don't have a person of interest or a suspect in the case.
Kaine Horman filed the petition Monday with the Multnomah County Circuit Court. He cites irreconcilable differences. He also requested a restraining order against Terri Horman.
A judge has sealed the details of the request.
Terri Horman told investigators she last saw Kyron inside Skyline Elementary June 4.
Up to now, the family has spoken with one voice. But Kaine Horman joined Kyron's biological mother, Desiree Young, and her husband, Tony Young, in issuing a cryptic statement Monday.
Terri Horman's name was not included. It said quote:
"We have been fully briefed by law enforcement on the ongoing criminal investigation. We are in complete support of that investigation."
"Any actions taken by the investigation or by us are based on the best interests of Kyron ... and comply with the law."
The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office would not discuss the divorce or protection order.
