Genetically modified salmon may have swum a little closer to a grocery aisle near you, after a meeting Monday outside Washington, D.C.

The Food and Drug Administration wrapped up two days of meetings with a key advisory committee.

There’s no final decision, but GMO advocates say the salmon’s path looks clear.
