Governor Appoints New State Treasurer

Oregon has a new Treasurer.

The Governor appointed Multnomah County Chairman Ted Wheeler to serve out the term of the late Treasurer Ben Westlund.

Mr. Westlund passed away over the weekend.

Governor Kulongoski made the announcement about a half-hour ago.
