Feds To Discuss Hanford Cleanup Tuesday Evening
The federal government says it’s pressing ahead with the nation’s largest cleanup at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation.
Last March, the Department of Energy said it’s spending around $2 billion in stimulus money for cleanup and to keep contaminants out of the Columbia River. They’ll talk about the effort a public meeting in Portland Tuesday evening.
