People will be gathering in Woodburn Wednesday evening for a celebration mounted by Oregon's farmworker union -- known as PCUN. 

The group and its supporters will be celebrating the 60th birthday of one of its founders and they'll be launching a new project in honor of Cipriano Ferrel. 

Ramon Ramirez is the president of PCUN -- he worked with Ferrel for many years, and after his death, assumed leadership of the farmworker union.  I asked him what's in store this evening.
