Family members are reluctant to appear in front of cameras, so they asked police liaison officer Mike Schultz of Multnomah County Sheriff's office, to read their statement.
Mike Schultz: "We need for folks to continue to assist us in our goal. Please search your properties, your cars, your outbuildings, your sheds. Also check with your neighbors and friends who may be on vacation or need assistance to search their property."
The family thanked everyone for their efforts.
Schultz has spent every waking hour with the family since Horman disappeared. When he drives home to sleep, another officer takes his place.
Horman's teacher also released a statement saying her students miss Kyron terribly and are wishing for his safe return.
An FBI incident truck has been brought in to provide high speed internet and more space for investigators.
Search and rescue teams from each of Oregon's 36 counties have now also been asked to join the hunt.
