California Explosion Highlights Need For Gas Line Safety
Thursday night's huge gas explosion south of San Francisco stunned the area. At least four people were killed and 52 injured in the blast and fire.
Natural gas lines are everywhere in this country, ranging from large to small.
Glenn Archambault is a pipeline safety expert who lives in Southern Oregon. He also has a gas pipeline on his property.
He says that explosions like the one in California are "very uncommon", and says generally, there are two main causes.
