Boardman Coal Plant May Close Ahead Of Schedule
The only power plant in Oregon that runs on coal might shut down in ten years if its operators are given the green light.
Portland General Electric has announced a plan to cease operations at the Boardman Power Plant in 2020, or at least phase out coal as a power source there.
For more on the announcement, we'll talk to Steve Corson, who is a spokesman for PGE, and he's on the line.
