'Beervana' Explores History Of Beer In Oregon
Portland, OR November 5, 2007 10:16 a.m.
Any historical look at Oregon would be incomplete without at least a nod to the state’s burgeoning beer industry.
Monday night independent producer Beth Harrington brings all of her attention to just that subject: the history of Oregon beer.
It’s called Beervana and she spoke with us in our Portland studios about the half hour Oregon Experience documentary. She says wasn’t exactly unfamiliar with beer culture when she began the project.
Beervana, produced by Beth Harrington, airs Monday at 9 o’clock on the television stations of OPB. If you just can’t wait that long, you can also get a sneak peak of the show at a screening at 6:30 at the Baghdad theatre in SE Portland.
