Sheriffs’ Efforts To Shield Handgun Licenses Fails In Salem

As the state Legislature winds down for the year, many of the session’s biggest issues are facing their D-Day.
This week, it seems, Salem dealt a blow to Oregon’s sheriffs.
The sheriffs’ had backed a bill to keep concealed handgun licenses confidential.
But the state Senate has effectively defeated killed the proposal.
Ethan Lindsey, OPB’s central Oregon correspondent, joins me now to discuss the issue.
