Portland, OR June 8, 2009 9:28 a.m.
The state medical examiner has confirmed that a pregnant woman, who was found under a house in Beaverton Friday, had been murdered. Kristian Foden-Vencil reports.
Doctor Christopher Young conducted the autopsy on Heather Snively.
Christopher Young: “The cause of death is homicidal violence, including blunt and sharp-force injuries.”
Young would not release more information, saying the case is still under investigation. He did not say how long ago Snively had been killed or how her baby died.
Young is awaiting the results of other standard tests -- for example, screenings for disease, drugs or alcohol.
Korena Elaine Roberts has been accused of the murder and is being held in a Washington County jail.
