Was Thursday's Storm Extreme For Western Oregon?

24 hours ago, a strong thunderstrorm was racing through Western Oregon -- it seemed unusually strong and severe, but we decided to call the National Weather Service to see what they thought.
Jonathan Wolfe is a metereologist and forecaster with the Portland office. I asked him if what happened yesterday was out of the ordinary.
