'Citadel Of The Spirit' Connects Oregonians With Their Stories
Portland, OR February 13, 2009 5:37 a.m.
Oregonians are connected to their state and are passionate about protecting it.
That’s the theme that binds the stories in an ambitious new book that’s been created for the Oregon Sesquicentennial.
It’s called Citadel of the Spirit.
The collection includes over a hundred stories; many of them original works by Oregon writers.
Newport writer and high school teacher Matt Love is the book’s creator.

Listen to contributing writer Erin Ergenbright read her story, “The Hands that Feed You” about Oregon’s food culture.
