What Does the Klamath River Dam Removal Deal Mean?
Bend, OR November 13, 2008 4:15 p.m.
We learned more Thursday about a deal involving the Bush Administration and the utility company PacifiCorp.
It could be the biggest dam removal project in history.
The tentative deal would tear down four dams on the Klamath River, in the year 2020. And it would cost $450 million.
But will it really happen? Joining me now is OPB’s Ethan Lindsey who has been covering the story for the past year.
