Before submitting to the four hour interrogation, Rossi held a news conference to blast the Democratic interests behind the lawsuit.
Dino Rossi: “When I have Christine Gregoire’s political operatives in the form of her lawyers sending people to my doorstep, pounding on my door at 9:30 at night showing up serving subpoena’s to my teenage daughter. This is the kind of thing that makes people worry about running for political office.”
Two former State Supreme Court justices who are Gregoire supporters filed the lawsuit.
It’s against the Building Industry Association of Washington.
The conservative building group has spent millions on an independent ad campaign to elect Rossi governor.
In the lawsuit Attorney Knoll Lowney accuses Rossi and the BIAW illegally coordinating to help raise money for the campaign war chest.
It’s a charge Rossi vehemently denies.
