'Work The System' Offers Efficient Work Tips

In 1984, in the middle of one of the biggest recessions the Pacific Northwest had seen in 50 years, Sam Carpenter bought a tiny telephone systems company.
The Bend businessman says that by streamlining everything in that business, he went from working 100 hours a week to just two.
Now he’s written a book called ‘Work the System.’
He came to our studios at OPB and first, I asked him to explain what his business does.
