A Multnomah County Court has dismissed the case against two Portland women arrested during last year's Rose Festival.

Bonnie Tinker and Sara Graham are members of a group called "The Seriously Pissed-Off Grannies". They've been involved in various anti-war protests.

During the 2007 Grand Floral Parade, Tinker and Graham were accused of running out into the parade route, and blocking a tank.

Outside the courthouse Monday, they explained they'd planned several acts of dissent around the Rose  Festival, and Fleet Week.

Bonnie Tinker: "Actually we were down there when the ships came in, too, with signs that said, 'NO WAR--NO SHIPS IN OUR HARBOR'."

Sara Graham : "Yes, an old man threatened to throw me in the river twice because I had that sign."

Monday Judge Alice Fuchs dismissed their case, since the prosecutor's office was not prepared to move forward with a trial.

Tinker and Graham said they did not attend this year's Rose Festival, but might return in the future.
