County Wants Change To Double Majority Elections Rule
Portland, OR May 29, 2008 5:03 p.m.
Thursday the Multnomah County Board of Commissioners unanimously passed a resolution supporting a change to some elections rules.
For twelve years, Oregon elections officials have discounted levy or bond voters that didn't draw out at a majority of the electorate.
OPB's April Baer has been looking into the proposed change. She talked with Beth Hyams about what's on tap.
